Desiree’s Senior portraits July 13, 2009
I know Desiree from the dance studio I teach at. I’ve only really known her for one year but I have grown to love her. She is an amazing young lady with a fun attitude and it definately showed in her pictures. She is also a beautiful girl and was very natural with the camera. I didn’t really have to tell her how to pose or anything. Which allows for a lot more photos to be taken!
Her best friend Leslie came along with us and we really just had a fun time. These girls are just a hoot and were up for anything which you will see in the some of the photos 
We started off in the dance studio for a few indoor photos with her school jerseys and items. I was a little nervous how they would come out because I’ve really never done any indoor photos without it being in a photography studio. But they came out greater than I expected (of course with a little photoshop help!). We then ventured out into the mall and I was actually quite surprised with all the great spots for photo opportunities. However it seemed like the stickiest day of the summer. Felt kind of like a sauna almost. But despite the grossness we still got some great photos! After the mall we headed out to Desiree’s farm where I think some of the best shots came from. We grazed out with the horses and the pastures with hay bales and such. And then we went to a nice little field glowing in the sun set. It was a perfect end to a great photoshoot!
So thanks Desiree’ for letting me take your senior photos. I had so much fun and I’ll miss you next year when you are gone to college. You definately have to come back to see me!

Sarah and Jeff’s Wedding June 14, 2009
Sarah is my cousin and I actually was just guestbook for the wedding and of course tending to my children for the day so I didn’t get a chance to get a lot of photos. I also didn’t want to get in the hired photographers way and hope I wasn’t too annoying to her when I was behind her taking some photos of my own . So I did get a few even though most of them the attention is directed to the other photographer, but I did get some really good ones still!!!
The Schmoe Family June 2, 2009
I was asked by one of my best friends to take pictures of her and her family before they moved to Indiana. I met Kristi, and all four of her children during my husbands last deployment. Her husband, Brandon, was deployed at the same place and we just kept in contact and got each other through it together. Well our husbands finally came home, but Brandon chose to stay active and work in Indiana to train new troops. So they packed up the family and moved to Indiana, but before they left we wanted to get some photos of the family (minus Brandon). They turned out great and I am so excited to share them with everyone!
